About the Program
Leadership Development Week (LDW) supports The Executive Leadership Council’s (ELC) mission by providing corporate professionals with business-tested strategies, networking opportunities, and tactics to advance their careers in a culturally-relevant environment that values their social identity.
Conducted over the course of 5 days, LDW is a leadership intensive where participants register for one of six (6) concurrent courses designed for every level of corporate professional. LDW courses hold an intentional, developmental and “brave space” for corporate professionals from across the country to accelerate their career development while also rejuvenating themselves among likeminded colleagues. LDW’s design empowers attendees to:
- Boost their executive-level visibility
- Take ownership of their career advancement
- Accelerate their readiness for leadership roles
LDW is designed for corporate professionals to attend multiple times, taking the course that best meets their priorities and needs based on their corporate journey stage. Below is the suggested sequence of core and specialized courses.
