Gala Week Overview
The Executive Leadership Council’s Gala Week consists of five concurrent programs and events for a range of audiences, including undergraduate and graduate students, mid-level professionals, enterprise-wide CEO’s and C-suite executives, ELC Members and more.
The week is anchored by The ELC’s premier fundraising event, the Recognition Gala, that celebrates $2.5 million in scholarships to Black undergraduate and graduate students each year.
Programs & Events
This year, ELC Gala Week programs and events will impact over 3,000 members, students and esteemed guests at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC.

Honors Symposium
October 1-4, 2024
The ELC Honors Symposium is a multi-day professional development experience consisting of a series of workshops and meetings that prepare ELC Scholars to contribute their talents in the workplace effectively. This event is open to ELC Scholars, ELC Members and corporate scholarship sponsors.
Elevate & Connect: A Night at the Museum with The Executive Leadership Council

Discover the timeless artwork, artifacts, and historical treasures of the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) during our private afterhours networking reception. The welcome reception at the iconic NMAAHC will feature ELC Scholars, ELC Fellows and Executive Members enjoying the tastes and sounds of Black culture.
Prepare to be inspired and uplifted as we observe the past and toast to the future of Black leadership!
Participation in the NMAAHC Welcome Reception requires registration to one of our Gala Week programs and events.
