The ELC’s Board Director’s Summit brings together ELC’s board-ready members and C-suite Black executives to meet with private equity and public corporate representatives for informal networking and structured interviews for potential board positions.

The ELC Board Directors Summit, held annually in December, is a premier two-day event designed exclusively for ELC members who are current corporate board directors or those aspiring to secure their first board position. The summit serves as a vital gathering for collaboration with organizations committed to increasing the number of Black board directors. Day one features insightful panels, data presentations and fireside chats, while day two focuses on interviews for board roles, providing a unique opportunity for networking, learning, and direct engagement with potential board opportunities.

To be extended an application for membership, a candidate must receive a nomination for membership consideration from an ELC member in good standing and meet one of the preliminary membership criteria.
