Janiah Long

Janiah Long is a Junior Dean’s List Pre-Nursing Student at North Carolina A&T State University. She is an innovative, customer-oriented rising healthcare professional with a background in management, administrative services, and customer care. Currently, Janiah is a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Volunteer EMT. She has a strong background in quality assurance and case management principles and is skilled at communicating, organizing, and solving problems that yield results for organizations. She is service oriented and has a passion for providing quality healthcare to marginalized communities. This summer she will be going to Belize with the Global Medical Brigade Chapter of North Carolina to serve underdeveloped communities in Belize who lack access to healthcare and interning at Kaiser Permanente, shadowing and assisting seasoned healthcare professionals.
