The ELC is partnered with the Center for Talent Innovation (CTI) to showcase its research, “Being Black in Corporate America,” with a focus on Black men. CTI’s presenters, Julia Taylor Kennedy, Executive Vice President and Sandra Rice, Senior Vice President of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships, drew a portrait of a highly-motivated, ambitious cohort – one that has long experienced disproportionate obstacles in career advancement and has turned to entrepreneurship as a refuge from unwelcoming corporate environments. This ground-breaking research also gives top leaders validated approaches and best practices to retain and advance Black talent, with a vision to create even more meaningful support in the future.
